Yes, you. We’re always looking for new authors. If you’ve got an idea that will challenge our readers or inspire them, we want to hear about it. But you don’t need to be a professional writer. Just aim to bring readers a fresh perspective on a topic that’s keeping you up at night.
We want to be upfront: our contributors currently write for a £10 flat fee (submissions accepted after October 1st 2023). We 100% believe in paying writers, but as a non-profit platform we do not currently have the funds to do so. We are working to change this in future. For now, what we can offer is a space to tell your story and have your voice heard, and the opportunity to work with our editor to refine and strengthen that voice.
Our inbox is very busy, so please allow up to 6 weeks for a response to your initial pitch.
Unfortunately, due to the incredibly high volume of emails we receive we are unable to offer individual feedback on unsuccessful submissions, though we would love to if we could.
